What is Adaq Qurbani?
In general, adak (nazr) is a vow made to Allah (SWT) by a person to do something if a particular wish or desire is fulfilled. Once the desired outcome is achieved, it is obligatory for the person to fulfill the vow they made. If the person commits to sacrificing an animal when their wish is granted, the type of sacrifice they are required to make is called adak (nazr) sacrifice.
What are the Conditions for Adaq Qurbani?
The conditions for sacrificing an Adak (Nazr) are as follows:
Intention: In order to sacrifice an Adak (Nazr), one must first make an intention to fulfill the vow that has been made and become obligatory. It is necessary to intend to sacrifice it for the sake of Allah’s pleasure. By doing so, the obligatory sacrifice will be fulfilled.
Animal with Sacrifice Qualifications: The animal to be sacrificed as an Adak (Nazr) must be one of the animals eligible for sacrifice (cow, buffalo, camel, sheep, goat). Additionally, the animal must be healthy and meet the qualifications for sacrifice.
Halal Slaughter: As with all sacrifices, care must be taken to perform a halal slaughter when sacrificing the Adak (Nazr). The sacrifice should be made with "Bismillah" and "Takbeer."
Time of Sacrifice: The Adak (Nazr) sacrifice should be performed as soon as possible after the conditions that were pledged in the vow have been fulfilled. However, the Adak (Nazr) sacrifice can also be made before the conditions are met. This is a practice recommended by scholars.

I had made a vow to sacrifice if I got appointed, and thank God, with my first salary, I was able to perform the sacrifice. May Allah reward those who facilitated this.

I had vowed to sacrifice the day I retire, and exactly on that day, I had it done. I sent it in the morning, and it was sacrificed before the evening. Thank you.

I was very moved when I saw that they had shared my Adak with orphans. From now on, I will always have my sacrifices done here.
